Oscars Predictions!

With a flurry of things going on, here goes for a quick and fast predictions, I've already done Actor and Best Picture... here goes to the rest where I've seen enough to make some form of competent opinion! Sorry for the rush... coming off a 15+ hour work shift.

Actress In A Leading Role

The Nominees:

• Emma Stone, La La Land
• Meryl Streep, Florence Foster Jenkins 

Who I Want to Win?

I think this will come down to two people. Emma Stone or Natalie Portman... I think based on performance alone... I think Viola Davis should win for Lead Actress... um I mean Natalie Portman.

Who do I Think will Win?

Emma Stone... I think the hype train is quite real and deserving for La La Land and her performance was great in it, her character wasn't exactly the greatest person but it was a fun movie.

• Michael Shannon, Noturnal Animals

Who I Want to Win?

General Zod! Michael Shannon had perhaps the least screen time... but man each time he was on screen made a huge impact.

Who I Think Will Win?

Michael Shannon... for all the reasons above.

I want Arrival to win, because I think this movie was just done so well with how it was shot, and how the story was told.

La La Land. It is pretty much the year of La La Land isn't it?

Who I Want to Win?

Arrival... I love anything related to space and/or Alien Life and this movie finally showed something with a deep and simple meaning. When you take a look into the story you realize that this whole movie was made because of how the story was told... and that has everything to do with the director and Denis Villeneuve is quite the story teller... his previous films Prisoner and Sicario are a bit darker... and I guess... Arrival is a bit Dark too depending on how you look at it, but.. wow what a film.

Who I Think Will Win?

La La Land. Damien Chazelle is just as impressive with his previous film being Whiplash and now La La Land... I normally hate musicals... but I've seen La La Land like.. 4 times now? Start to Finish... I still think he has some kind of thing for Tragic Love stories but... he prob deserves this award just as much as anyone.

TBH... I really do not know.... Any of the movies outside of the Bay Film 13 Hours and I think they deserve it. But probably La La Land....
